Paige // Level 8
Paige began her career in the salon industry in 1998 as a receptionist. After discovering her passion for the beauty industry, she completed a two-year apprenticeship and earned her cosmetology license. In October of 2009, she pursued her dream of salon ownership and proudly purchased Design Studio East.
Paige specializes in custom color services, precision cutting, and is Master Certified in Bellami Hair Extensions, allowing her to deliver highly personalized, elevated results for every guest. She is deeply committed to education and excellence, both behind the chair and within her team.
As a leader, Paige is passionate about growing people in this industry—providing knowledge, education, confidence, and support to help stylists build sustainable, fulfilling careers. She leads Design Studio East with a strong emphasis on teamwork, continued education, and empowering each individual to reach their highest potential.
Lexi Cole // Level 3 + Lash Technician
Lexi began her career at Design Studio East in 2021 and quickly became known for her talent in creative color, where her artistic eye and attention to detail truly shine. She is Master Certified in Bellami Hair Extensions, allowing her to offer customized, confidence-boosting transformations for her guests. She specializes in color corrective services, and huge hair transformations.
In addition to her work behind the chair, Lexi is also a certified lash technician, bringing a well-rounded approach to beauty services. When she’s not in the salon, she’s soaking up life with her three beautiful babies and fully embracing motherhood—something that deeply inspires her passion, creativity, and heart for her work.
Delaney Hope // Level 1
Delaney began her career at Design Studio East in 2026, after graduating cosmetology school at Douglas J Institute in Lansing, Michigan. Quickly adapting to salon life with her easy-going, light-hearted personality!
She loves doing lived in color, balayages, blonding services, and precision cuts. But, her favorite service of all is connecting with her clients and getting to know them! Outside of work she loved to travel, read, make coffee, go to concerts, and spending time with family and friends!
Mayce Hoover // Level 1
Mayce began her career at Design Studio East in 2026, after graduating cosmetology school in Hillsdale, Michigan. With her sweet spirit, and commitment to her profession, she is a great fit for someone looking for a relaxing, hair experience!
She loves to create color transformations and brighten someones day with her hair magic! When she is not working she loves to spend time with her friends and family, and caring for her Golden Retriever, Cooper.
Brooklyn Pryor // Esthetician
I've always had a passion for enhancing natural beauty & I'm a people person all around so being an Esthetician comes naturally!!
My passions are corrective + transformative skincare, product formulations to ensure each client is using the right skin care products for their skin type, making sure my clients are comfortable at all times!
Elizabeth Slocum // Receptionist
Taking care of the salon and making it a comfortable place for our clients is a big priority for me! Whether you need hair product advice, or a hot tea, I have you covered! I thrive at the front desk and am honored to be a friendly face, and a helping hand to everyone that enters our salon!
When I am not working, I am planning my wedding and spending time with my fiancé and my family! I love the outdoors, the gym, and the sunshine!
