Paige // Level 8
Paige began her career in the salon industry in 1998 as a receptionist. After discovering her passion for the beauty industry, she completed a two-year apprenticeship and earned her cosmetology license. In October of 2009, she pursued her dream of salon ownership and proudly purchased Design Studio East.
Paige specializes in custom color services, precision cutting, and is Master Certified in Bellami Hair Extensions, allowing her to deliver highly personalized, elevated results for every guest. She is deeply committed to education and excellence, both behind the chair and within her team.
As a leader, Paige is passionate about growing people in this industry—providing knowledge, education, confidence, and support to help stylists build sustainable, fulfilling careers. She leads Design Studio East with a strong emphasis on teamwork, continued education, and empowering each individual to reach their highest potential.

Beth Walker // Level 7
Beth began her career at Design Studio East in 2012 and has been creating magic behind the chair ever since. Known for her exceptional color work and love for the fun, creative side of hair, Beth brings a bold artistic vision to every service. She is certified in Bellami Hair Extensions, allowing her to create seamless, customized looks tailored to each guest.
A true artist at heart, Beth’s creativity extends far beyond the salon. Outside of work, she expresses herself through painting and metalsmithing, designing beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. She is also a proud dog mom to her sweet pup, Buffy, who holds a very special place in her heart.
Sarah Ramirez // Level 4
I’ve been in the hair industry since 2018, specializing in color, highlights, and balayage. As a wife and mom of two, I understand how important it is to feel confident and refreshed, and I love helping my clients achieve that.
In addition to creating beautiful transformations behind the chair, I also help manage the salon, making sure everything runs smoothly for both our clients and team. My passion is not just in the artistry of hair but also in building meaningful connections with the people I work with and serve everyday!
Hannah Adams // Level 4
I attended the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing right after high school and have been apart of Design Studio East for over 8 years. My favorite color services are highlights and teasy lights - I love the creativity they bring!
When I am not at the salon, you can find me spending time with family and friends or exploring new places through travel. I can’t wait to have you in my chair!
Emma Feld // Level 3
I’ve been a professional cosmetologist for 5 years and been a part of the DSE team since early 2024. I love everything to do with hair; cutting, coloring, and especially wedding updos! Helping everyone get ready for their big day is one of my favorite things.
I have a wonderful partner, daughter and two cats at home that I love to spend time with! I enjoy knitting, learning to quilt, watching Gilmore Girls and shopping.

Lexi Cole // Level 3 + Lash Technician
Lexi began her career at Design Studio East in 2021 and quickly became known for her talent in creative color, where her artistic eye and attention to detail truly shine. She is Master Certified in Bellami Hair Extensions, allowing her to offer customized, confidence-boosting transformations for her guests.
In addition to her work behind the chair, Lexi is also a certified lash technician, bringing a well-rounded approach to beauty services. When she’s not in the salon, she’s soaking up life with her three beautiful babies and fully embracing motherhood—something that deeply inspires her passion, creativity, and heart for her work.
Brooklyn Pryor // Esthetician
I've always had a passion for enhancing natural beauty & I'm a people person all around so being an Esthetician comes naturally!!
My passions are corrective + transformative skincare, product formulations to ensure each client is using the right skin care products for their skin type, making sure my clients are comfortable at all times!
